Barbra In Details : 11/03/2007 - The following photos unless otherwise noted were taken by Barbra M. These pictures were her first attempt at using any SLR camera. With just a little bit of tutoring she was off taking great macros, at Waimea Falls Park, in the Northshore of O'ahu Hawaii. She was using an Olympus e510 mounted with the 50mm f2 macro lens. An interesting observation I had was that she shot 95% of these pictures using live view, in apeture priority mode and all hand held! Much thanks goes out to Ed Y., Terry and Eyes of Hawaii Photo Club for organizing this event and Lyle Awakuni of Olympus Imaging America Inc. which provided full DSLR camera kits allowing the DSLR experience for many first timers. ....
